Learning resources       

Specific learning resources related to WASP-13 and WASP-13b have been created by the University of Warwick and the University of Central Lancashire. This includes ideas of how to run your own local naming competition for your school or youth organisation that will help define your submitted names to the national competition. The UK European Space Education Resource Office (ESERO) have pulled together an amazing range of teaching resources (both primary and secondary) for exploring exoplanets. This can be found here.

A more involved project on exoplanets using the “Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia Plotting Tool” with real exoplanetary data have been created by the National Schools Observatory and can be found here.

The University of Warwick is running a competition called “Astronomy meets the Arts!” where you can show your creativity and win some amazing prizes. Bring out your creative side and send entries that portray some aspect of Astronomy in artistic form; this could be in the form of a painting, drawing, poem, video, sculpture, sound, or photography.
